Experience the next level of slope soaring performance with this advanced 3D-printed RC aircraft, designed to deliver exceptional speed range, precision handling, and structural efficiency. At its core, this aircraft is a high-performance slope soarer equipped with a powerful motor, allowing it to perform equally well in pure gliding conditions or powered flight. The design offers an exceptionally wide flight envelope: it remains comfortable and stable at very low speeds when flying with full flaps, yet transforms into an incredibly fast and agile machine when pushed to the limit. In the air, the aircraft tracks like an arrow, delivering the kind of precision and responsiveness that experienced pilots appreciate. To achieve the desired wing loading and overall efficiency, the use of LW-PLA has been minimized exclusively to the tail section. Removing the typical design constraints associated with foaming filaments allowed the development of more advanced and complex structural solutions throughout the airframe. One of the most notable innovations is the fully printed wing system. The aileron, wing structure, and hinge axis are all produced in a single printing process. The moment the part is removed from the print bed, the aileron is already fully functional. Despite its 2-meter wingspan, the entire wing is composed of only ten printed parts, dramatically simplifying assembly while maintaining excellent structural integrity. The aircraft is also optimized for standard printing materials, with most components designed to be printed using regular filaments such as PLA+, providing outstanding impact resistance and durability. LW-PLA is used only where its weight-saving properties are most beneficial — in the tail. Control precision is enhanced through a direct-drive aileron system, where the servo axis connects directly to the aileron. This configuration reduces mechanical complexity, minimizes aerodynamic drag, and delivers extremely precise control response while simplifying installation. Landing performance is supported by a proven landing gear suspension system, a simple and effective solution already tested and validated in one of our previous glider designs. This system absorbs impacts efficiently while maintaining reliability and ease of maintenance. To further refine both aesthetics and aerodynamic efficiency, the aircraft incorporates a hidden elevator linkage, with the elevator pushrods completely concealed inside the structure. This not only improves the aircraft’s clean appearance but also reduces aerodynamic drag. Combining modern 3D printing technology with advanced aerodynamic thinking, this aircraft offers a unique blend of speed, precision, and engineering innovation — built for pilots who want a slope soarer capable of both relaxed soaring and extreme performance.
