Unleash precision and power with the Dual Acro, a high-performance twin-engine aircraft designed to master both precision aerobatics and smooth, stable flight. The Dual Acro was conceived with one clear goal: to deliver an unmatched aerobatic experience. Its design features a fully symmetrical airfoil, oversized control surfaces, and a long, efficient tail, all powered by dual high-thrust engines that ensure immediate response and precise control. Despite its aerobatic nature, the Dual Acro is remarkably versatile and forgiving. Its large rectangular wing and generous overall dimensions provide excellent stability and slow-flight capability, making it not only a capable performer for experienced pilots but also a confidence-inspiring aircraft for beginners. Whether you prefer smooth, relaxed flying or aggressive aerobatic maneuvers—the Dual Acro adapts effortlessly to your style. Visually, the Dual Acro embodies the classic twin-engine aesthetic of small STOL passenger aircraft such as the De Havilland Twin Otter, whose iconic lines inspired its fuselage design. Ground handling is equally refined thanks to its tricycle landing gear configuration. For the nose gear, two suspension options are available: Version 1: A long-travel suspension system using a 3D-printed spring, providing excellent shock absorption and smooth landings. Version 2: A flexible filament-based suspension, offering increased durability with slightly reduced travel. Both options deliver superior handling and allow pilots to tailor performance to their flying environment. Engineered for an optimal strength-to-weight ratio, the Dual Acro employs a hybrid construction combining PLA, LW-PLA, carbon fiber, and steel reinforcements. Due to its large scale, the use of lightweight foaming materials has been carefully balanced for strength and efficiency. Advanced vase-mode printing techniques are utilized in key LW-PLA components to minimize print time while maximizing surface quality and structural performance. As with all our designs, assembly is fast and precise thanks to an integrated male-to-female interlocking system that guarantees perfect alignment and seamless assembly. From calm, stable circuits to dynamic aerobatic routines, the Dual Acro stands as our most adaptable and capable aircraft to date—combining robust engineering, elegant design, and exhilarating performance. Print it. Build it. Master the skies.
