Eclipson Cobra is an agile and fast EDF sport jet with a unique tail configuration for this type of aircraft.  For the first time we will sell this model in 3 different formats: with a V-tail; with a T-tail; or with both tail configurations. From an aerodynamic point of view, the only difference is that the T-tail is better for performing  knife edge manoeuvres. Another unique aspect of the Cobra’s design is the landing gear; a tail-dragger configuration with the wheels integrated into the wings. "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" said Leonardo Da Vinci.  We think that this landing gear is an great example of what Leonardo means: Functional, light, easy to print/build, sturdy, low drag and with a minimal visual impact. Costly carbon fibre tubes have been replaced by 3D printed spars which provide the required strength to the wing.
