Model D

Eclipson Model D is a light sports model. This airplane is very easy to print, easy to assemble, light and it shares the same electronics of any other Eclipson model. Even if printed with PLA/PETG, the wing loading is below 50g/dm2. As usual, the model has been designed to be compatible with LW-PLA, if you decide to print the model with this material, the plane becomes a great trainer due to its slow flight speed (see video). The landing gear system is simple, strong, replaceable and compatible with big wheels allowing you to take off from grass or any other terrain.
