Introducing the Göppingen Gö 1 Wolf V2 – our modern, motorized reinterpretation of the classic German single-seat glider first produced in 1935. Designed specifically for RC and 3D printing enthusiasts, this updated version brings several important enhancements, including spiral vase compatibility, better interlocking part connections, and reinforced critical structural areas for improved durability. Whether you're new to 3D printed aircraft or a seasoned pilot, the Wolf V2 is a compact, forgiving, and highly approachable model that’s easy to print, assemble, and fly. It’s especially well-suited for LW-PLA (active foaming), which keeps the airframe lightweight and enables slower, more stable flight—making it a great choice for beginners or relaxed weekend flying. For the fuselage, you can choose between PLA+ for greater impact resistance or LW-PLA for a lighter and slower flight profile. Additionally, you can fine-tune print weight and strength by adjusting the flow rate. We recommend a default flow of 53%, which gives you the lightest airframe, but any setting between 53% and 65% is acceptable. Please note: While PLA can technically be used for the wing and tail surfaces, it is not recommended due high speed, and balance issues. These parts are best printed with LW-PLA. However, experienced pilots seeking higher performance may still experiment with PLA at their own discretion. One of the great benefits of the Wolf V2 is its modular electronics setup—the same electronic components can be reused across other Eclipson aircraft models, saving you time and money as you expand your fleet. And in case of a crash? Simply reprint the plane and get back in the air.
